Vernon Patch Poll: Is a Larger Police Presence Good for Rockville?
The mayor has announced a new patrol.
Mayor George Apel on Tuesday said two officers are being assigned to patrol Rockville.
He has also and Mayor George Apel has declared a zero-tolerance policy there in reaction to a riot and stabbing that recently took place at the intersection of Union and Ward streets.
