Vernon Patch Poll: Is a Larger Police Presence Good for Rockville?

The mayor has announced a new patrol.

Mayor George Apel on Tuesday said two officers are being assigned to patrol Rockville

He has also and Mayor George Apel has declared a zero-tolerance policy there in reaction to a riot and stabbing that recently took place at the intersection of Union and Ward streets.

The three who voted no are probobly 3 of the eight idiots that were arrested. The more police the better but they can only do so much. We need to support the effort by reporting illegal activity

I think if you put a cop on ever corner to baby sit these people, in the end, Rockville is still going to be the arm pit of Tolland County. They have tried it before and we are right back to where it was years ago.
