He was charged with violating the order.

A Vernon man has been charged with violating a week-old protective order, police said.

Tyler Fallon, 24, was taken into custardy at 9:03 p.m. on Monday, according to an arrest report. He allegedly violated a protective order issued after a Dec. 9 domestic incident by "harassing" a woman where she worked, police said.

Last week, Fallon and a woman were charged with second-degree breach of peace and risk of injury to a child charges after a domestic incident, police said.

A protective order was issued for the case, police said.

For the Monday incident and protective order violation charge, Fallon was briefly held and eventually released on a $1,000 bond with a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday, police said.
