Two Vernon Men Arrested in Stabbing Incident

The victim was able to walk to a hospital for treatment.

Vernon police charged two men, Dylan Briggs, 24, and Jeffrey Johnson, 25, with stabbing early Sunday, WFSB 3 television reports. 
A 24-year-old Vernon resident was stabbed in the stomach with a knife, and the victim was able to walk to a local hospital for treatment, WFSB reports. 
The incident occurred at 5 a.m. at Union and Ward streets, police said.

Install cameras at Union and Ward. Bad corner. Feel sorry for the bakery - that corner turns folks off from going to the downtown area.
