Three Vernon Residents Arrested in Drug Investigation

Task force raids condo off Route 83.

Police raided a condominium off Route 83 over the Memorial Day weekend and arrested three Vernon women on drug charges.

On Friday, the East Central Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 655 Talcottville Road, Unit 101, in Vernon, according to a news release.

The unit is in the Woodmere Place condominium complex, located off Route 83. 

Task force officers had learned that '"narcotic activity" was taking place at the condo. Task force officers began an investigation and obtained sufficient evidence to secure a search warrant for the premises, the news release said. 

Task force officers then raided the condo and seized a small amount of marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia, according to the release.

Those arrested were:

• Kim Hirschfeld-Lines, 44, of 655 Talcottville Road, Apt 128, Vernon. She was charged with possession of cocaine.

• Kyla Lines, 20, of 655 Talcottville Road, Apt 128, Vernon. She was charged with possession of marijuana.

• Nicole Belanger, 39, of 39 Maple Ave., Vernon. She was charged  with possession of cocaine.

The East Central Narcotics Task Force is a cooperative venture in Manchester, South Windsor, Vernon and Glastonbury.
