Teen Facing Burglary, Assault Charges

He was arrested in Andover.

A Vernon teen was picked up by police in Andover on Tuesday and is now in custody to face a number of charges related to burglary and assault, an arrest report indicates.

Jean Levasseur, 19, of 92 Prospect St., Apt. 2, was taken into custody at 5:27 p.m. on Tuesday at the home of his girlfriend on Shoddy Mill Road in Andover, off Route 6, police said.

Police said his charges include:

• Second-degree assault.
• second-degree breach of peace.
• First-degree burglary with an injury.
• Risk of injury to a child.

He was assigned a court date of Dec. 18 and his bond was set at $100,000, police said.
