The truck was stolen during a series of break-ins over the Labor Day weekend, police said.
The No. 2 suspect in custody has been identified as Angelo Maglieri, an 18-year-old resident of 68 Ridge St., Manchester, police said.
He was charged in Rockville Superior Court on Tuesday, where he was being held for an unrelated incident, police said.
His charges for the Scott dive vehicular theft include three counts of firearm theft, second-degree false statement and third-degree burglary, police said. The set of charges carries a $40,000 bond.
Another $20,000 bond was tacked on for third-degree larceny and burglary charges, police said.
On Labor Day weekend a 2003 Toyota truck - in which three firearms had been stored - was taken from Scott Drive, police said.
Vernon police charged 19-year-old Zachary Goodrich, of 214 Spruce St., Manchester, with three counts of both third-degree larceny and conspiracy to steal a firearm, according to an arrest report.
On Sept. 4, the truck was located on Fairfield Street in Manchester, police said.
The following day, Vernon detectives and Manchester police executed a search warrant at a Ridge Street residence in Manchester and found a 12-gauge shotgun, a .22-cal. rifle and a BB gun that had been in the truck, according to an arrest report.
