Police Write Tickets After Brawl at Condos

Police: Ten fined after fight over Internet comments.

Police have fined 10 people for creating a public disturbance at a local condominium complex.

On Sunday at 1:19 a.m., police went to 655 Talcottville Road to investigate a report that an assault had taken place involving baseball bats, according to a news release. The address is that of the Woodmere Place condominium complex.  

Upon arrival, police discovered that 10 people were involved in a brawl and and that people had been assaulted, according to the news release. Police said the the fight started because of comments made over the Internet.

Those involved were uncooperative, so police wrote out infraction tickets to them that carry fines of $103.

Those ticketed were:

• Jacqueline Organ, 41, of 655 Talcottville Road, Unit 26,  Vernon.

• Tiffany Organ, 23, of 55 Old Town Road, Vernon.

• Melanie Wright, 25, of 15 Rocket Road, Enfield.

• George Luna, 23, of 44 Windsor Street, Enfield.

• Joseph Lewis, 23, 375 Fountain Street, New York, NY.

• Frances Gonzalez, 26, of 37 Alden Avenue, Enfield.

• Kimberly Madrazo, 24, 3 Shaft Drive, Enfield.

• Lester Vasquez, 26, of 99 Hillside Ave., New York, NY.

 • Toby Malina,  23,  of 32 Pearl Street, Enfield.

• Police said the 10th person involved was a 14-year-old.
