Police: Woman Charged After Fight With Her Sister

She also had an outstanding warrant for skipping out on court, police said.

A Hartford woman is facing a variety of charges after a domestic incident wit her sister, police said.

During the fight, which took place at 5:19 p.m. on Tuesday, the woman allegedly struck her sister and held a knife to her stomach, police said.

A police call log indicates an indecent on Terrace Drive at that time.

Marta Gomez, 41, has been charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and two counts of risk of injury to a child, police said.

The bond for those charges was set at $2,500, police said.

Police also discovered an active warrant for the arrest of Gomez, a police report indicates, and she was additionally charged with second-degree failure to appear. The bond for that charge was set at $3,000, police said.

She was to appear in court on Wednesday, police said.
