A funny thing happened on the way to a strip club for a local woman.
Police said she lost her way and then lost her her clothes.
The saga of a bookload of charges against 43-year-old Danielle Roy began at 9:06 Friday night when she was walking north from her apartment at 565 Talcottville Rd., to the Sweethearts gentlemen's club, just a couple of miles away, police said.
According to an incident report, Roy, who was attempting to meet someone at the club, made a wrong turn onto Terrace Drive and came upon a family trying to get out of its driveway, in a car, en route to a local store.
She then began banging on the car and yelling, According to an incident report. The family tried to get her away from the car and Roy then completely disrobed and continued making a disturbance, according to an incident report.
She took her clothes off in front of teens and younger children, police said. A report described as being intoxicated.
Police tracked Roy down in the area and arrested her, According to an incident report. She was charged with public indecency, disorderly conduct, second-degree breach of peace, simple trespass and risk of injury to a child, police said.
A police spokesman said she posted a $1,000 bond and was assigned an Oct. 1 court date.
