Police Say Vernon Man Charged With Mistreating Children
His charges include cruelty to persons, police said.
A Vernon man is facing several charges in what police are describing as a continued case of him mistreating children.
Luis Rosado, 37, of 27 Mountain St., was taken into custody at 5:15 p.m. on Friday,. police said. He was charged with two counts cruelty to persons, two count of risk of injury to a child, and one count of third-degree assault, police said.
According to a police report, a broom and a belt were involved.
Rosado was to appear in court on Monday, police said.
