Man arrested for not leaving school has been arrested at school.

An 18-year-old Vernon resident who was arrested last week for failing to leave the Rockville High School campus when police asked him to has been arrested again.

At school.

This time, Joshua Veilleux, of 16 High St., is facing a $25,000 bond. He was held overnight until he appeared in court today, according to an arrest report.

Police said a failure to appear warrant was issued by Vernon Superior Court and he was arrested on Monday at school.

On March 15 after school had been dismissed, Veilleux, was taken into custody when he returned to high school campus after being warned to stay off the property earlier that day, police said.

A 26-year-old Vernon woman is facing a drug possession charge after a traffic stop, police said.

She is also facing charges in Wethersfield - the original cause for the traffic stop, according to an arrest report. 

At 11:43 a.m., police said they were on routine patrol on Reservoir Road when they noticed that there was an outstanding warrant for Stephanie Morrissey, of 51 Parkwest Drive.  

Police said Morrissey's paperwork was in order, but during a consent search, it was discovered that prescription oxycodone was found. She was arrested for illegal narcotics  possession, transported to the Vernon Police Department and then handed over to Wethersfield police, according to an arrest report. 

She is due in Vernon Superior Court to face the drug charge on March 29.

A Tolland Woman who was involved in a motor vehicle crash in Vernon last month is now in trouble for not having adequate insurance, Vernon police said.

Police said that, on Monday, they notified Tamara West, 46, of 351 Shenipsit Road, Tolland, that a warrant had been issued for her arrest. She reported to the Vernon Police Department at 8:20 Monday night to answer the charge of failing to carry the proper insurance.

The crash took place on Feb. 11, police said. 

She was released on a written promise to appear in Vernon Superior Court on March 28.
