Police News: March 8, 2012.

A Key Hyundai employee has been charged with theft.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Vernon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.



A Vernon man has been charged with carrying a dangerous weapon and the use of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Kevin Crowley, 47, of 40 Thomas St., Apt. 3, was arrested at 12:23 on Thursday, police said.

His bond was set at  $2,500 and he is due in court on March 20, police said.



David Marks, 46, of 50 Grand Blvd., Ellington, is facing a DUI charge and a moving violation for faulty rear lights after a traffic stop at 12:14 a.m. on Thursday, police said.

He was released on a $1,500 bond and is due in court on March 19, police said.



Wesley Newth, 44, of 859 Hartford Tpke, was charged with an insurance violation on Wednesday, police said.

He was released on a written promise to appear in court on March 19, police said.



Jordan Smith-King, 19, of 91 Union St., was charged on Wednesday with second-degree breach of peace after an altercation with his brother, police said.

His bond was set at $500 and he was to appear in court on Thursday, police said.



Thomas Goodbout, 29, was arrested on a warrant for two counts of sixth-degree larceny on Wednesday, police said.

Goodbout, of 718 Palisado Ave., Windsor, was charged for an incident in which money was taken from Key Hyundai at 21 Hartford Tpke in Vernon, police said.

He was an employee at the time, police said.

He was released on a $750 bond and was assigned a court date of March 20, police said.
