POLICE NEWS: Ellington Man Facing Drug Charges
Police slap 30 counts of obtaining drugs illegally on him.
An Ellington man is facing a DUI charge after a traffic stop in Vernon early this morning.
Police stopped John Robert Clark, 26, of 135 Orchard St., Ellington, for a tail light violation. Police said the odor of alcohol was detected on his breath and he was given a series of field sobriety tests, which failed.
He was charged with DUI and a rear market lamp violation and assigned bond of $500. He is due in court on March 28.

Vernon police picked up an Ellington man on a warrant and charged him with 30 counts of obtaining drugs illegally.
Charles Monck, 41, of 105 White Road, Ellington, was also charged with possession of narcotics. He was assigned bond of $15,000 an was to appear in court today.
