Manchester man is facing larceny charges.

A Manchester man was taken into custody this morning on larceny charges in relation to an incident at a Vernon home in December.

During a traffic stop at 9:30 this morning, Manchester police learned that there was an outstanding warrant for Brian David Graboski, a 32-year-old resident of 466 Main St., Manchester for a larceny that took place on Dec. 6, according to an arrest report furnished by Vernon police. 

Graboski is accused of stealing jewelry from a Vernon home at which he was staying, police said.

He was initially take to the Manchester Police Department and then transferred to Vernon police, according to the report. 

He is awaiting a court date on fifth-degree larceny charges and a bond of $750.

A 33-year-old East Hartford man is facing drug charges after being arrested Sunday  at a Reservoir Road.

At 9:57 p.m. on Sunday, Vernon police noticed a vehicle operating without a front license plate at 75 Reservoir Road, a Burger King restaurant. While speaking with the driver, police said, an odor of marijuana was detected.

A substance that appeared to be marijuana was then found inside the car, police said.

Cornelius L. Gilliam, of East Hartford, was charged with driving without a license plate, drug possession, and the use of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $500 bond and id due in Vernon Superior Court on March 1.
