Police: Man Charged With Violating Restraining Order Minutes After It Was Served

He will be in court two days in a row, police said.

A East Hampton man has been charged with violating a restraining order minutes after receiving it, an arrest report indicates.

The man, 43-year-old Luis Moren, of 6 Skinner Rd., East Hampton, was in court on Thursday and was issued the order.

Police said he allegedly sent his ex-wife a text message minutes after receiving the order in violation of that order.

The order prohibits any contact with his ex-wife, police said.

His bond was set at $500 and he was to be back in court on Friday, police said.
