Police Make Weekend Domestic, DUI Arrests on Regan Street

A fight between a man and a woman raged all night, police said.

Two days.

Three weekend arrests at 17 Regan St.

Two took place inside an apartment at the dwelling. One took place outside.

Police said that in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, a raging fight took place inside apartment 7B.

Jessica Cloukey, 26, of that address, was charged with second-degree breach of peace. She was to appear in court on Monday on a $500 bond, police said.

So was Duston Bartley, 26, of 71-77 Loveland Hill Rd., apt. 27, police said.

Both were taken into custody between 1 and 2 a.m., police said.

Police said that the two had been arguing all night and while riding to Cloukey's apartment, Cloukey began hitting Bartley.

After Cloukey was dropped off, Bartley returned to her apartment after realizing he had forgotten his keys, police said. According to an arrest report, Cloukey was holding a kitchen knife when he entered the apartment.

In an ensuing scuffle, Cloukey was knocked down while Bartley was trying to defend himself, according to an arrest report. Bartley then left the premises on foot, police said. Cloukey hit her head and cut her ankle in the fracas, police said.

Both wanted to press charges against each other, police said.

The third arrest took place at 1:07 a.m. on Sunday after what police described as a repeat DUI offender became uncooperative during a traffic stop, according to an arrest report.

Eric Trudeau, 44, of 118 West Main St., was pulled over for speeding and disobeying a traffic signal, police said.

Police said they suspected that Trudeau was driving while drunk and he refused to take a sobriety test. He was charged for that, for the two moving violations and DUI, according to an arrest report.

He was being held on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday, according to an arrest report. Police said Trudeau has numerous DUI convictions on his record.
