An officer intercepted the vehicle and pulled it over. A Vernon man is now facing three charges, according to an arrest report.

Edward Franklin, 49, of 325 Kelly Rd., failed a series of field sobriety tests after being stopped, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence and driving under suspension, according to an arrest report.

He was also issued an infraction for speeding, police said.

He was released on a $500 bond after being processed at police headquarters and assigned a court date of April 29, police said.
