A Manchester man is facing a trio of charges relating to a November bar fight in Vernon, police said.

William Conaim, 33, of 61 Rachel Rd., Manchester, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief, police said.

He posted a $2.500 bond after surrendering to police on Wednesday and is due in court on Jan. 21, police said.

Derby resident Jeffrey Curriere, 33, was also charged for the Nov. 24 brawl at the Free Spirit Cafe on Kelly Road, police said.

The fracas started after a dispute over payment, police said. A chair was thrown and it broke a piece of fencing, according to a police report.

Cunaim grabbed the fence post and used it in the fight, police said.

The owner of the establishment was hit by a piece of broken fence, according to a police report.

Curriere left the bar and police found him nearby - at Denny's in the Tri-City Plaza, according to a report. Conaim wound up in Hartford Hospital being treated for unspecified injuries and police sought a warrant for his arrest, according to a report.
