Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law Charged After 4th of July Incident

Both were to appear in court Thursday, police said.

Two people were charged with disorderly conduct in a 4th of July incident at 74 Main St., police said.

Police were summoned to the home at 9:13 p.m. on Wednesday, an arrest report indicates. The resident, Jeffrey Cyr, 38, was taken into custody. He was being held on a $5,000 bond while awaiting a Thursday court appearance, police said.

His mother-in-law, Pamela Bouchard, 57, was released on a $1,500 bond and is also expected in court on Thursday, police said.

A man charged two weeks ago as one of four caught loitering and consuming alcohol in a park after hours is now facing a sixth-degree larceny charge, police said.

Robert Ignatowicz, 58, was taken into custody at 5:42 a.m. on Thursday, according to an arrest report.

His bond was set at $10,000 and he is due in court on July 17, police said.

A Vernon resident is facing a charge that he was driving under the influence after a traffic stop at 7:28 p.m. on the 4th of July, police said.

A log entry indicates police responded to a call at West main Street and Vernon Avenue at that time.

William Doucette, 47, was initially pulled over the a suspended license, police said. His bond was set at $1,000 and he is due on court on July 16, police said.



Felicia Edwards, 35, of 820 820 Mansfield City Rd., Mansfield, was charged with failure to appear in court at 1:06 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.

She reported to the police station to answer the charges, police said.

Her bond was set at $2,500 and she was to appear in court on Thursday, police said.



Douglas Plourd, 41, of 52 Anderson Rd., Tolland, is facing a DUI charge after a traffic stop on Wednesday evening, police said. 

He was pulled over at 7:42 p.m. on Reservoir Road near exit 67 off Interstate-84, according to the police call log. The initial charge was for driving in an improper lane, police said.

He was also charged with failure to have the proper insurance, police said.

He was released on a $500 bond and was assigned a court date of July 16, police said.
