Man Given Hefty Bond After Disturbance

He was involved in a domestic incident, police said.

A Vernon man was charged with assault and breach of peace - both in the second degree - following a domestic incident on Wednesday, police said.

Juan Carlos Gonzalez, 39, was taken into custody at 10 p.m. and was held overnight on a $75,000 bond while awaiting a Thursday court appearance, police said.

He lives at 695 Talcottville Rd., apt. 27J, police said.

Gonzalez was involved in a disturbance with his live-in girlfriend, police said.
