Man Facing Second Domestic Case Since December, Records Show

A couple has been charged this time after police broke up a domestic scuffle early Tuesday.

Two Vernon residents were taken to police headquarters after a domestic incident early on Tuesday, police said.

For one of them, it is his second domestic assault charge in about a month.

Both Tyler Mason, 31, and Tracy Beauchamp, 30, are facing third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace charges for the Tuesday incident, police said. Their address is listed on a police report as 35 Mountain St.

The incident took place at 12:39 a.m., according to a report.

Mason was also charged with violating a protective order, police said.
Mason has a similar outstanding case, according to court records. He is due in court on Feb. 10 for a Dec. 8 incident out of Vernon for which he is facing the same assault and breach of peace charges, plus risk of injury to a child, court records indicate.

He had been released on a $50,000 bond, according to court records.

For Tuesday's case, he was assigned a $5,000 bond and was to appear in court later in the day, police said.
