An East Hartford man is facing a pair of charges after getting involved in a fight on Monday, according to an Vernon Police Department arrest report.
Wayne Atwater, 45, of 275 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, was in a fight with another man at 6:56 p.m. on Monday, police said. The police calls log indicates a disorderly case at 22 Ward St. at that time.
When police arrived at the scene, Atwater fled on foot, police said.
He was later apprehended without incident, according to an arrest report.
Atwater has been charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with police. His bond was set at $2,500 and he has a court appointment for April 3, police said.
