Man Accused of Credit Card Theft

He was in court and is due back before a judge in February.

A West Hartford man is facing five charges related to the illegal use of a credit card in Vernon, according to an arrest report.

Leonardo Nunez, 32, of 451 New Park Ave., West Hartford, surrendered to Vernon police at 8:25 a.m. on Monday. His bond was set at $25,000 for a court appearance latter that day, police said.

He is charged with two instances of credit card fraud, credit card theft, third-degree identity theft and second-degree larceny, police said.

His bond was reduced to $250 and he was released from custody, court records indicate.

He is due back in court on Feb. 21, court records indicate.
