Vernon woman is facing a gun charge after an altercation in Rockville.

A Vernon woman is facing gun and a variety of other charges after an argument over a parking space late Monday in Rockville, police said.

Kristylynn Turnbull, 41, of 21 Maple St., has been charged with second-degree breach of peace, carrying a gun without a permit, first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree threatening.

According to an arrest report, officers responded to the Maple Street residence for a report a person being threatened with a gun.  

When they arrived at the scene, officers were informed by the victim that she had been involved in an argument with Turnbull over a parking space, according to the report.  

Police said the victim told them that, during the argument, Turnbull pulled out a handgun and held it to the victim’s throat.  Turnbull was pulled away by her son and then blocked from the victim, police said.  During a search of the Turnbull’s residence, two 40-caliber handguns, ammunition and an Airsoft pistol were seized, police said.

Turnbull was being held early today in lieu of a $25,000 surety bond before being transferred to court.
