Hartford Man Charged With Drug Fraud

The incident was at a CVS.

A Hartford man has been slapped with a bookload of charges for trying to fraudulently obtain prescription medication, police said. 

Jimmy Flintroy, 47, of 25 Nepaug St., Hartford, was taken into custody on Monday after Vernon police received a fraud complaint from the Rockville CVS, a report indicates. 

The CVS is located on Windsor Avenue. 

Police said Flintroy has been charged with: 

• Attempted second-degree larceny.
• Second-degree forgery.
• Conspiracy to possess narcotics.
• Attempt to possess narcotics. 
• Conspiracy to sell a controlled substance.
 • Attempted sale of a controlled substance.• Obtaining controlled drugs by fraud. 
• Conspiracy to obtain controlled drugs by fraud. 

He was to appear in court on Tuesday after he was held overnight on a $7,500 bond, police said.
