An Ellington man is facing a sixth-degree larceny charge after allegedly shoplifting from a local CVS, police said.
Michael Pinto, 19, of 6 Brook Crossing, Ellington, was arrested at his home shortly before 7 p.m., police said.
Pinto took $97 worth of merchandise from the store at 22 Windsor Ave., police said. Most of the items were toiletries, police said.
That area of Windsor Avenue was energized by Connecticut Light & Power on Tuesday night.
