Charges Keep Piling up for Vernon Man

He was arrested again on Sunday.

A Vernon man with a history of trouble has found more, an arrest report indicates.

Robert Ignatowicz, 58, of 25 Linden Place, was taken into custody at 2:17 a.m. on Sunday, police said. It was his fourth set of charges in a month, according to police records.

In mid-July, Ignatowicz had been arrested three times over a 17-day period for incidents like public drunkenness and shoplifting.

At one point, a police dog located him hiding from authorities behind Price Chopper. 

According to an arrest report, he was to appear in court on Monday after the latest set of charges, which  came in six parts.

• Three counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, three counts of second-degree criminal trespass and a single count of sixth-degree larceny. The bond was set at $30,000, police said.

• Second-degree failure to appear and a bond of $5,000.

• Failure to respond to an infraction and a bond of $5,000.

• Second-degree failure to appear and a bond of $5,000.

• Second-degree faille to appear and a bond of $5,000.

• Failure to respond to an infraction and a bond of $5,000.
