Big Drug Bust for Police

A pair of Vernon residents is facing more than 30 counts each.

Two Vernon residents are facing a plethora of drug charges after a bust on High Street, police said.

Amanda Lesnowski, 28, lives at the 116 High St. address where the arrests were made at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, police said. She has been charged with 32 counts of conspiracy to obtain controlled drugs by fraud and 32 counts of obtaining controlled drugs by fraud.

She has also been charged with possession of a hallucinogen and marijuana, two narcotics possession charges and the use of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $75,000 and she was to appear in court today.

So was Anthony Navarro, 38, of 51 Talcottville Road, who was also pinched in the bust. He is facing the same charges, but his bond was set at $500,000. He was also to appear in court today.
