Alleged Drug Dealer Nabbed at Henry Park

Drug task force seizes 80 bags of heroin and marijuana during the bust.

An alleged drug dealer was pinched at Henry Park on Thursday by the East Central Narcotics Task Force. The task force consists of police officers from Vernon, Manchester, South Windsor and Glastonbury. 

According to a news release, at approximately 4:30 p..m., task force members conducted  a buy/bust operation on an alleged heroin dealer named Shawn Keaton in Henry Park.

Keaton was taken into custody without incident after he had his girlfriend, Zayas Zuski, sold heroin in a parking lot, police said. Zuski was also taken into custody without incident, police said. 

Task force members seized 80 bags of heroin and marijuana during the bust. There were two small children present during the arrest, and the state Department of Children and Families was notified, police said.

Police said Keaton, 42, of 111 Sherbert Ave., Hartford, has a long criminal history in Connecticut, and has been arrested by the task force in the past for sale of narcotics.
Police said he was charged with: 

• Conspiracy/sale of heroin.
• Marijuana possession.
• Risk of injury to a child. 

His bond was set at $75,000, police said. 

Police said the 27-year-old Zuski, who lives at 235 East Main St., East Hartford, was charged with: 
• Heroin possession.
• Risk of injury. 

Her bond was set at $75,000, police said.
