State Rep. Timothy Ackert, R-8, spent time with residents at the second-annual Farmstead Fair, which took place on Saturday at the Tolland County Agricultural Center in Vernon.
The fair included tours of the greenhouse, various vendors from across the state, numerous farm animals and a silent auction.

All of the proceeds of the fair benefit the work and programs of Creative Living Community of CT, an organization dedicated to creating a shared, inclusive living experience for individuals with and without developmental disabilities, by focusing on the gifts of all in mutually rewarding relationships. http://www.creativelivingcommunityofct.org/
