Longtime Vernon Educator John Bellino Passes Away
He was employed in the school system for many years.
John J. Bellino Jr., a longtime educator in Vernon, died at his home in Vermont on Monday.
He was 72.
He taught for 33 years at Rockville High School and Vernon Center Middle School. He was a school administrator for 15 years, including a vice principal and science coordinator.

A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday morning at 8:30 at the funeral home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury and a funeral Mass is scheduled for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 785 Highland Ave., Waterbury, at 9:30.
Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hours are scheduled for Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
