Video: Wishes On Wheels Truck Convoy Passes Through Connecticut

Mansfield-Storrs Patch snagged a spot on I-84 East just beyond Exit 68 in Mansfield as the caravan, benefiting Make-A-Wish Connecticut, passed through the state.

Dozens of cars lined Interstate-84 in Connecticut on Sunday morning to welcome the Wishes On Wheels Truck Convoy as it passed through Connecticut in an effort to raise awareness for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Hundreds of trucks lead by law enforcement blew their horns enthusiastically as they drove past exits and overpasses filled with onlookers supporting their mission; some waving American flags in celebration of this year's theme: Patriotic USA.

In its 13th year, Wheels for Wishes raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut through its car donation program.
