Kitchens sell Houses

When selling your home always remember that your kitchen is the most important room in your house. It really is!!! You’re actually selling your kitchen, not your house. That should give you an idea of how very important it is. Typically you can expect to recover 85% of a kitchen renovation when you sell your home. On the flip side, a buyer may look to have you lower your asking price by as much as $10,000 dollars for an out dated kitchen. That’s not to say that you need to make an expensive renovation in order to put your home on the market. The quickest and least expensive kitchen updates include painting and new cabinet hardware.  For your walls always pick a light neutral beige that will appeal to the most potential buyers.  The best way to pick new hardware is to take one handle off and bring it with you to the store. Match it up to new hardware the same size. This will eliminate the need to drill & fill holes.  Always make sure everything is clean and cabinets are neat and organized. Shelf liner is also another very inexpensive fix and looks great inside drawers and cabinets.
