'Lunch, Story and Farm-Yard Tour'

To
spread the joy of reading, but also to get folks outside in the fresh air and

sunshine, please join us at the farm on Wednesday, Aug. 21st ,

from 11:30-12:30 pm for story telling by our very own Mrs.Phillips-Bosshart

(know dearly to us all as Mrs. P.B.) for her wonderful farm stories and a

special new story about Miss Lilly, our Strong Family Farm barn cat.  (Miss Lilly is shy, so might not appear – but
we might get lucky and see her!)

Suitable for all ages.  Children must be
accompanied and supervised by an adult.  No need to pre-register; just bring a lunch,
listen to a story, and then go on a small tour of the farm to see the chickens.

 Rain or shine event.

Strong
Family Farm is located at 274 West Street in Vernon.   We ask people to park at Center Road School
or on Peterson Road and walk to the farm as parking is limited and we hold on-site parking for the handicapped.

For
more information please call Nancy Strong at 860-875-2412 or email
info@strongfarm.org.

Don’t
forget to practice the Strong Family Farm Chicken Song (sung to
the tune of "I've Been Working on the Railroad"):

We will
always love our chickens, every single day

We will
always take good care of them in every single way

We will
always feed them good food and keep them safe from harm

We will
always love our chickens- at Strong Family Farm!
