Wood Memorial Library's 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Festival and Display

Following the resounding success of its inaugural year the Wood Memorial Library and Museum has decided to once again deck its halls and throw open its doors for what is fast becoming one of the largest Gingerbread House Festivals and Displays in all of New England.   From November 26th to December 14th, 2012, the spicy aroma of gingerbread will permeate the air as local artisans and bakers, experienced and novice alike show off their talents with a dizzying array of candy covered houses.  The Library, located on historic old Main Street in South Windsor, will provide the perfect holiday venue for showcasing the sugary artistic creations, many of which will be for sale along with other holiday themed gifts and treats in the “Gingerbread Shop”.

So start the holidays off right with a classic seasonal event that is fun for young and old alike.

Wood Memorial Library & Museum is located at 783 Main Street South Windsor, CT 06074. Hours are Monday’s and Thursdays from 10am to 8pm and weekends from 12-6pm.
