MOBILE CHRISTMAS EVENT FOR ROCKVILLE RESIDENTS

Community Gathers to Bring Christmas Directly to Underprivileged Families

Christmas should be a time of joy and celebration for every child.  The promise of Santa, hot chocolate, and presents (of course!) brings a special level of excitement attained only during this season.  However, not all kids have the opportunity to experience every delightful facet of the holiday.

On Thursday, December 20th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, Crossroads Community Church and their friends will be at 116 Prospect Street in Rockville, CT to bring the spirit of Christmas straight to the doors of a community in need!  Christmas lights will be set up, carols will be sung, hot chocolate will be enjoyed, and presents will be delivered.  Food, drinks, desserts, and games will be shared as well.  Clothing for this neighborhood’s children and their families has been kindly donated from local CT residents to be handed out as an extra blessing to this community.

Crossroads Community Church is calling together members of their congregation to reach out into our community to provide joy, happiness, and some human necessities that make all the difference during Christmas.  This is an opportunity for Crossroads to be a church – not a physical location, but a body of people – and to love their neighbors.

Crossroads Community Church is a place for people who may have given up on church, but not on God.  Crossroads Community Church was founded in 2001 under the Christian Missionary Alliance denomination.  Crossroads welcomes everyone to travel the journey toward God with us, no matter where you are on your walk.
