Vernon's Daily 5: Famed Author Visits Board of Education

And German exchange students offers their favorites about Vernon.

1. AOL Weather says there is a chance of showers this afternoon with temperatures in the mid-60s.

2. Celebrated Author David M. Schwartz visited to Vernon Board of Education on Monday night. Schwartz jokingly handed out a few pretend million-dollar bills.  He said he hoped they could help out local education while Holding his book, "How Much is a Million?"

3. Some German exchange students visitited the school board on Tuesday and offered their impressions on what has been a productive visit both academically and socially. When asked what their favorites things have been so far? The pleasant nature of the residents they have encountered and mac and cheese.

4. Kaylyn Morrill, a 2010 graduate of the Rockville High School vocational-agricultural program, is interviewing this week for a national officer's position with the Future Farmers of America.
