Vernon Good Friday Trash and Recycling Schedule
The Friday route will be collected on Monday.
The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Friday, March 29, in observance of Good Friday.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on that day. The Friday route will instead will be collected on Monday, April 1, along with that day's normal collection.
Excess trash and recycling may be brought to the Transfer Station year-round at no charge to Vernon residents. The hours of operation are Wednesdays and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays noon to 4 p.m.
