Get your mail to the local Post Offices by these dates to make sure it arrives in time for Christmas!
Christmas cards, gift packages for loved ones living far away; there's a lot of mailing to be done before the holidays.
But if you follow these handy deadlines provided by the U.S. Postal Service, your mail should arrive at its destination in time for the holidays (within the continental U.S.).
First Class Mail: Dec. 20

Vernon has two post offices - the main office on Union Street in the Rockville section of town and the Talcottville station on Hartford Turnpike across from Connecticut Golf Land.
