To The Editor:
As you know the 2013 Miss Greater Rockville crowned Saturday night at Rockville High School is Gina Salvatore (Wethersfield) and the Miss Greater Rockville's Outstanding Teen is Jeanette Porcello (South Windsor). The runners-up were (respectively) Ashley Sodipo (South Windsor) and Miranda Van Allen (Bolton). This event was a great success once again this year with six contestants in the “Miss” category and four in the “Teen” category.

… and last, but most certainly not least, our three retiring titleholders from 2012: Katlyn Lewicke – Miss Greater Rockville; Cassia Shoaf - Miss Greater Rockville's Outstanding Teen; and Kaitlyn Bogue – Miss Tolland County. These young women have all made the Rockville community proud of them, and while we are sad to see them go, and wish them the very best in the future, we look forward to working with Gina and Jeanette in the coming year.
Again, thanks to everyone who helped to make this event possible and successful!
