New England Civil War Museum to be Closed on Sunday
Uncertainty over the area's roads is forcing organizers to call of the regular open house.
With organizers - and the public - still stuck in uncertainty over roads in the area, the troops will not muster at the New England Civil War Museum on Sunday.
Sunday, the second of the month, was to be an open house at the museum.
It is also open the fourth Sunday of the month. Open houses run from noon to 3 p.m. The museum is located in the vintage Grand Army of the Republic Hall on second floor of Vernon Town Hall, 14 Park Place.
