Thanks To All Who Made The Third Annual Mason & Purcell Golf Classic A Success

Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) held its third annual Mason & Purcell Golf Classic on Monday, September 16, 2013, at the Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT. The event raised almost $120,000 to benefit both Manchester Memorial and Rockville General Hospitals. Over 200 golfers attended the day-long event with lunch on the course, a cocktail reception, dinner in the club house, games and prizes, and both live and silent auctions. Again this year the day started gray and rainy, but by the time the golfers hit the course, the sun was out to greet them.

The winners of the Francis H. Burke, M.D. award for Low Gross team were the foursome of Rich Pagano, Mike Cannata, John Carserino and Keith Lemieux from GoJo Industries, Inc. The winner of the Jock Campbell Trophy for men’s Low Gross was Peter Karl of ECHN.

The Presenting Sponsor again this year was the Rockville Bank Foundation. ECHN greatly appreciates their support, as well as that of the following: Cocktail Sponsor: Ambulance Service of Manchester; Lunch Sponsors: EmCare/EMSC and Mercer; Scoreboard Sponsors: Aetna; API Healthcare Corporation; BNY Mellon Wealth Management; CASLE Corporation; Connecticut Business Systems; Cooney, Scully and Dowling; Halloran & Sage LLP; HealthWise Medical Associates, LLP; MedAssets Revenue Cycle Services; O’Brien, Tanski & Young; PMA Companies; Turner Construction Company; Visiting Nurse & Health Services of Connecticut, Inc.; Registration Table Sponsors: CNC Software, Inc.; Keith Wolff/Wolff Financial Group, LLC; Lincoln Financial Group; Tecton Architects, P.C.
