Visions for Vacancies: Like A Scene From a Movie

A classic storefront in Rockville.

There is a scene toward the end of The Shawshank Redemption. Red, the character played by Morgan Freeman, had just been paroled and was walking down a street. He stops at a pawn shop and gazes into the window.

There is a spot in Downtown Rockville that resembles that very scene - a vacant storefront on Park Street just down the hill from Rockville Superior Court.

What should be in the piciture for the vacancy?

Yes, we have zoning regulations, but put all of that aside for now and concentrate on what you would like to see there or what would be the best use for the community.
