Vernon Business Recognition Event Planned
Key Hyundai and Imageworks are hosting a reception.
The Vernon Economic Development department and commission are honoring local businesses later this month.
The date is March 28 and the location is Key Hyundai for a reception scheduled for 6 p.m.
Key is located on Route 83 on the Vernon-Manchester line - 21 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon. Key Hyundai and Imageworks are sponsoring the event.
Economic Development coordinator Shaun Gately said the event is designed for "networking with … the businesses that keep Vernon humming."
"Our businesses are helping the town's philosophy that Vernon is not going to sit around and wait," Gately said. "Vernon is going to go out to recruit businesses and then make them feel welcome after they arrive. Together, we keep Vernon moving."
