Russ's Time Named RDA Business of the Month

The eatery has been a staple of Rockville for more than a decade.

Russ's Time restaurant has been named the "Business of the Month" for March by the Rockville Downtown Association.

The restaurant is located at 13 West Main St.

A visit to the local eatery is like taking a step back in time to the 1950s and 1960s, with original rock-n-roll memorabilia decorating the walls, shelves and counters. The restaurant specializes in breakfast and lunch.

RDA President Lisa Moody said Russ's Time has been a "cornerstone" of the downtown business district for 11 years.

Owners Russ Johndrow and Sandi LaChapelle, longtime Rockville residents, are always there - Monday  through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant is also open on Saturdays from 8 to 11 a.m. and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to Noon.

"Russ's Time restaurant is a very special part of downtown Rockville," Moody said.  "It's where friends, neighbors and co-workers can get together and enjoy good food and good company."

The Rockville Downtown Association was formed by individuals dedicated to revitalizing and improving the image, physical environment and economic stability of downtown Rockville. Membership and involvement is open to any individual/group or business that shares the vision of a revitalized Rockville.
