The Oki Asian Bistro recently opened on Hartford Turnpike with a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Mayor George Apel.
The restaurant is located next to the Shops at 30 plaza. The property has hosted a number of culinary establishments over the years.
State Rep. Claire Janowski also attended the ceremony.
Apel has attended more than 30 such ceremonies in his first year as mayor.
