''Yes. Reselling tickets is legal in more than 45 states, including Connecticut.''

3. Why does the secondary ticket market exist?

4. Are last-minute tickets cheaper?

''Sometimes, last-minute tickets are sold below face value, based on demand. Tickets are also sometimes resold at a higher value than the original purchase price due to higher demand.''

5. Why are tickets sometimes available on TicketNetwork's Web site before they are available at the box office?

''Tickets listed on the TicketNetwork site can be obtained in advance by professional ticket brokers through fan clubs, VIPs, credit card promotions, promoters and friends of band members prior to when the public can buy tickets at the box office.''
