The holidays can be a particularly difficult time of the year, especially after someone you love has died. But Carmon Community Funeral Homes is hosting a community presentation to offer ways to help Greater Hartford residents cope.
A free program, entitled “Coping with Grief and Loss during the Holidays” will be held in Vernon on Wednesday, November 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Visiting Nurse and Health Services of Connecticut on 8 Keynote Drive. The program will be led by Holly Gibson, Bereavement Coordinator from the Hospice Program at Visiting Nurse & Health Services of Connecticut.
Gibson will suggest ways to make the holidays easier for families who are grieving, and there will be an opportunity for people to ask questions. Refreshments will be served.
