Spend a weekend with Boy Scout Troop 20/20 of Vernon!

Do you enjoy the outdoors?  Are you a Cub Scout (Webelos II) and want to know what it's like to be a Boy Scout?  Or maybe you're 10yrs old or older, and wondering what Scouting is all about?  Troop 20/20 of Vernon is inviting you and an adult to join us on our February camp out!

Our Troop (and guests) will meet at the Elks Lodge in Vernon, Friday evening Feb 14th around 6PM.  We will be camping at J.N. Webster Scout Reservation in Ashford, CT, in the Cornell Lodge, a bunk style cabin that sleeps up to 30 people (see attached picture).  Activities will include lots of both indoor and outdoor activities, weather permitting, including Scouting skills work, sledding (possibly 'extreme' sledding as our Troop calls it).  Food will be prepared & provided by the Troop throughout the weekend.  We will be returning on Sunday morning Feb 16th.

All Cubs & other non-Troop members must be accompanied by an adult.  The cost is $10 per person for the weekend, or join us just for the day on Saturday for FREE!  Either way, we'd love to have you come get a taste of what Troop 20/20's awesome scouting program has to offer.
