New Vernon School Administrators Introduced

They were all unanimously endorsed by the school board.

Four new school administrators were introduced at Monday's Board of Education meeting. 

All were endorsed unanimously by the school board.

Lindsay Tringali has been named a vice principal at Rockville High School. For the past year, she was the dean of students at Windsor High School. Part of her responsibilities was tracking attendance, addressing dress code and electronics violations, tracking loss of credits based on attendance and contracting students to get those credits back. 

She was also a science teacher at WHS for 12 years. 

Tracy Duenzl takes over as the new principal at Lake Street School. She has been an assistant principal at Broad Brook Elementary School in East Windsor for the past two years. 

She was also an instructional consultant at North indium School and a teacher in the Windham public school system. 

Michael Gelada has been named an assistant principal at Vernon Center Middle School. He had been the mathematics department chairman for Womogo Regional Middle/High School in Litchfield. 

He started teaching in that system in 1996. 

Pamela Barker-Jones is the new Maple Street School principal. 

She had been the assistant superintendent for curriculum and assessment for the Windham school system since 2011 and before that, she was the pre-K to 12 math supervisor for the Waterbury school system.
